All Area Checklist

• Clear countertops of any items

• Put away items in cabinets

• Tidy up and organize items on surfaces

• Wipe down countertops with all-purpose cleaner

• Clean and disinfect the area

• Wipe down cabinet doors and drawer fronts

• Wipe down the trash can and replace the bag

• Sweep, mop or vacuum all floor

• Dust all accessible surfaces, including shelves, tables, and electronics

• Do not dust shelves over six-feet high

• Avoid moving valuables and fragile items; dust around them carefully

• Wipe down tables, TV stands, and other furniture with an appropriate cleaner

• Clean and disinfect remote controls and light switches

• Vacuum sofas and chairs, including under cushions

• Return cushions to their places

• Clean inside windows and windowsills with glass cleaner

• Wipe down mirrors

• Wipe down light switches and door handles

• Wipe down the exterior of appliances

• Gather dirty towels and place them in the laundry basket

• Clean toilet bowl and shower thoroughly and wipe dry

• Strip the bed and change the bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvet cover if provided

• Bring soiled bed linens to laundry room

• Make the bed neatly, arranging pillows and decorative items

• Remove any items or clutter from the hallway and stairs

• Clean the inside and outside of patio doors with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth

• Wipe down door frames

• Remove all items from countertops, cabinets, and drawers

• Vacuum the interiors of all cabinets and drawers

• Organize and set aside items to be cleaned separately

• Wipe down countertops with a strong all-purpose cleaner

• Scrub the backsplash to remove grease and grime

• Clean and disinfect the sink, including the drain

• Scrub and polish the faucet and handles

• Remove and clean the sink strainer

• Empty and vacuum the interiors of all cabinets and drawers

• Wipe down the inside and outside of cabinets and drawers with a mild cleaner

• Clean and polish cabinet hardware

• Remove all items and discard expired food

• Wipe down shelves and drawers with a mild cleaner

• Clean the exterior, including handles and top

• Remove and clean oven racks

• Use an oven cleaner to clean the interior

• Scrub the stovetop and clean burner grates and knobs

• Clean the interior with a microwave-safe cleaner

• Wipe down the exterior, including the keypad and handle

• Remove and clean the filter

• Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner

• Wipe down the exterior

• Clean the exterior of the toaster, coffee maker, and other small appliances

• Wipe down the interiors if applicable

• Sweep and mop the floor, paying special attention to corners and under appliances

• Wipe down walls to remove any stains or splatters

• Clean and dust baseboards

• Clean windows, including the interior of windowsills and tracks

• Dust light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vents (within reach, do not exceed six feet high)

• Vacuum upholstered furniture, including under cushions

• Dust and wipe down TV screens, sound systems, and other electronics with a dry micro-fiber cloth

• Clean and disinfect remote controls, light switches, and door handles

• Vacuum carpets and rugs thoroughly, including under furniture if accessible

• Sweep and mop hardwood or tile floors

• Clean any floor trim and baseboards

• Clean windows and windowsills with glass cleaner
